Description
Some sketch during lectures. It's Terror. You've seen him, he's on both portraits. And the creature form's called a daemragon, that's his original form, the human form was a result of a polymorph spell gone wrong (a wizard cast it on him to turn him into a harmless critter...) but he, being a summoned magical beast in nature, started being able to switch between it and his true form (so he's a werehuman). It aslo resulted in him not eating humans anymore cause he's not cannibalistic.Related content

No worries - you'll get it. I once toyed with a whole race design for two years before I hit on a configuration that I liked. But I am pretty happy with it now, so you'll totally get it hammered out. ^_^

Oh, just his normal prey. That's other species of magical beasts. Of humans he used to eat mostly spellcasters. You know, in that world magic has a cycle like other substances do. It also tends to generate some uplift when present in the air that could be used by magical creatures with suspiciously small wings or heavy body to glide in such areas. It can also be used to produce electricity and power up a whole city. It's got so many uses, including all those classical fantasy ones, besides being the main energy source of many lifeforms there.

He regards humans as his own species after all this time spent as one so he wouldn't kill a human for a reason much different from why a human would do it.

I also seem to be unable to properly depict his human form exactly as it looked before, when I drew him often...

Zmei is going the opposite way: slowly abandoning his elven self to became a dragon. Dunno how to explain, I guess "returning to the non-human form" it's my latest fixation; I am even a into were-folk now, which had never happened before... Guess it's a certain phase of life or something.... Rhianel is also changing now - into a sort of monstrous winged Unicorn creature
And don't worry, as said, Terror looks very handsome as a human... Very much my type of a guy

Yes, I saw this (creatures)
But the transformation sequence was admittedly cool. I expected something badass to emerge, because the beast was so badass, and so was very dissapointed about how, um, delicate he was looking... The whole last fight scene was very impressive to me (the moment with the hiding among the gargoyles was awesome), it even showed that Gaston can actually (almost) kill something dangerous AND be more efficient than other NPCs. I mean he did something plot-important before he died, which made him a little less lame
