Description
colors swirl and popin front of my eyes
flowing through music,
brought on by noise,
appearing in words;
colors transparent,
yet blinding in the
deafening noise of trains,
and in the joyous symphonies
of beats, drums, and strings.
colors indescribable
through words or paintings;
they exist not in the world
we see with everyday vision...
'Tis is no hallucination!
how can I explain
my vision to those who
aren't blessed with colors
mingled in sight and sound?
for I realize my sight
is unlike anything anyone
has ever seen through eyes
outside of my own.
I feel as if I could conduct
the colors of sound into a
symphony of color
seen only by me.
so I sit and enjoy
the swirling images of color
and pattern that appear
before my eyes.
they stir my soul
to joy tinged with sorrow
because
I am the only one who can see
my specific
neurological colored symphony
of noise and music,
which I long to share with those
without
color tinging their ears.
