2006 - 2019

I started making this portrait a month ago, as soon as I found out Uncas had past.
He belonged to the Royal Mounted Guards in Stockholm where he was cared for by
my friend who loved him like he was her own. I had never seen such love between
two separate species and it hurt so much to know that you were suffering so
tremendously to have lost your soulmate.
Due to a wrongly healed tendon Uncas had to move on.
I know that my tribute to him wont make the pain go away, but maybe ease the
burden of carrying the hurt and paint from losing a loved one.

Rest in peace Uncas, you left us too soon

I printed this on a watercolour canvas (30x40 cm) and framed it in a gold frame for
my friend to have as memory. She absolutely loved it and I'm so happy that my
tribute could bring tears of joy instead of pain for a change.
