You never-ever-Ever self test your own inventions like that! Dwight probably deserves pretty much anything coming her way for that one! I mean, isn't that what best friends are for? Or colleagues, coworkers, annoying family members, neighbors, school mates-..... waaaaait, is Dwight from the same school as Charlie confirmed? *Snickers*

Still, that fifth panel is rather worrisome for the scientists inclined, here's hoping that wasn't anything too too seriously damaging up there.... Then again, maybe her staying like that wouldn't be too terrible! *Snickers*

Like every great inventions must be tried out first, and then the scientists chose themselves, to not risk other's health, which I view as possible. Like the doctor that invented a vacine against smallpoxes, and injected it into himself, and later injected smallpoxes to test if his vacine worked. Or the guy that discovered ''laughing gas'', and tried a certain dose on himself. Actually he opened like twice the ammount of what should be deadly, so we don't know how he managed to survive ... And the guy that invented LSD for his patients, but tested it on himself first. History has many examples of people taking a chance and suceeding. Dwight didn't suceed thoe .....

You came out with more examples then I thought one might find of such a practice, and people wonder why some people think humans will bring their own doom about! Aha.
While I understand the standpoint of them deciding they don't want to risk the life of others for their discovery, which is rather brave of them, to then go ahead and try on themselves. I still think that's a bit of a miscalculation, when the person most likely to know what went wrong if it goes wrong, is the person that came up with the idea in the first place. But oh well, sometime it's true in our history that nothing venture'd, nothing gained.
As for that last bit, whoops. Too bad for Dwight. On the bright side, maybe in failure she might gain something too.

I mean, beats just whimsically deciding to do it... But he probably could have used a few drops on mice or something of the like and see a gender change result before going straight on to human testing. And still have had plenty left for well... Himself. If it was in that short of a supply.
