Aah! Another glance into the past, like I did back in Page 65 , while most of the panel is in black and white those things that the characters would remember best retain their colour, really love how that little panel came out, little Charlie and Chris just goofing around happily.
What happened though? What could be the story they went through in the past?
It makes me hooked even though I know what happened :T
Anyway, that's the end of Chapter III, there's a lot to talk about IISY though, I gonna post a journal either tonight or tomorrow. Since I need to let you in about some info regarding Chapter IV and onwards >3<

'Is It Summer Yet?' Changing Styles
This is something I've been thinking for quite a while now, ever since I started taking the habit of doing all the sketch batches I've drawn since mid last year, one of the big issues I've had for the longest time is spending too long working intricate details, and for IISY it's just been hellish, I don't have a problem spending this long in the comic, but it pains me to keep people waiting as well as having a bunch of other stories in my head. The thing about the sketch streams is that it has helped me loosen up my hand significately, getting an enjoyable design I like in just a couple hours instead of spending days in a single thing. By now you have guessed what I plan on doing, and it's something I've talked about directly with a few people, I was planning on putting up on a poll, but ultimately it's something I decided to go through with.

The updates have actually balanced a bit in the total amount of pages per year, which I've kept a count of, but as I mentioned in that journal I do plan on changing the style of the comic, and hopefully get to a schedule of one page per week, it's just that I needed to get some other responsabilities out of the way before getting it updated, otherwise I end up just piling on stuff. As you saw I recently got the cover for the new chapter done, and I've actually already started working on the next page, but had to take care of some patreon rewards as well, which I already posted.
The fact I've uploaded so many things in between is of course the streams, which more often than not mean 10 new pics per stream plus one or two of being the stream canvas, these have become my main source of income, so I need to find a balance between everything, since IISY is drawn for free.

My favourite panel would have to be that last one; you can almost smell the nostalgia. Chris' gentle, relaxed smile as she reminisces is wonderfully done. It would make an excellent picture by itself as well.

Ah, well, it was just some object from their past, the "sock" has also something to do with it but is not like these are some sort of key objects to reveal some sort of mystery, the main point is their memories from childhood.
