I don't know anything about black and white mages, I played FF1 a long time ago, as well as a couple FF Crystal Chronicles games, but I don't much about the difference, I'm assuming white mages uses light and healing spells only or what?

Holy and healing spells. If they are good enough they can even bring someone who recently died back to life. Their holy spells are effect against anything that's evil. The more evil, the more the damage.
Β Black mages are destructive spells. Ranging from fire, to rot. They can do some extreme damage to their enemies. They are also know as battle mages.
Β The red mage, is a little of both. They are more like a combat medic. They will never be as good as a white mage in healing. But they are capable at destructive spells. They are also know as sword experts. They can also use something called blue magic.
Β Which can affect time and space. Allow them to copy their last foe's technique from them using it, or eating their opponents.

If I get some money maybe I will see about a collaborative commission... I'd probably make her reallyΒ sweet and helpful, but violently protective of her friends... The whole healing minor scrapes and wounds, but when the other character gets seriously hurt my character gets mad and drops Benediction followed by Holy
