Zatanna's shows and the success of said shows had been without rival! Raving reviews announced the magical maiden wherever she toured, and she never had to ask twice when booking a venue. They practically BEGGED to have her perform at their various showrooms and fancy diners. It was while she was on the road traveling that she first heard news about her friend Wonder Woman and the seemingly magical goings on that had claimed the adulthood of so may already.

A few days later she was at the ever growing daycare, under the guise of putting on a show for local children. When she saw the now baby Amazon Princess, she couldn't help but giggle at how adorable the little one was. She'd put on the show now for all the eager little ones and then she'd see what she could do about her friend of Justice and maybe some of these other little ones.
She decided to check her makeup before performing as she hadn't really had much sleep the night before and she wanted to try to learn to do the makeup manually rather than her usual thing of just using magic to do it. As she walked by the mirror, she saw a small flash of pink poking out from the bottom of her black leotard outfit. A small blush exposed her embarrassment as she quickly adjusted her leotard back over it, deciding to use a spell to keep it there for now. Why had she had to wear such bright underwear today... how long had that been visible for too? Brushing it off, Zatanna composed herself and readied to wow a crowd of toddlers. That wouldn't be hard, after all, her and Wonder Woman had once joked about how to kids, even knock knock jokes seemed like magic. This would be easy!

In no time at all, the little toddlers were all sitting on the floor in front of her as she announced the start of her impromptu show. Some of the toddlers were easily distractable and some were trying to toddle off in other directions back to whatever toys they had been playing with, but Zatanna knew they'd all be back to watch soon.

Beginning with a simple but effective trick, the raven haired beauty clicked her finger, a large cane appearing from nowhere with a puff of smoke. The sound and sudden flash of movement was more than enough to have all the toddlers waddling and crawling over as fast as their little legs could carry them. Zatanna spun the cane around in an almost hypnotic display of acrobatic talent as it seemingly twirled back and forth effortlessly in her hands. Raising the cane above her head, a long silk banner suddenly streamed down from it, hiding the superheroine from view momentarily. The toddlers all watched now in awe, wondering what would happen, when suddenly the cane and silk fell to the ground with no sign of Zatanna.
A chorus of shocked gasps from the children went up as they saw that their entertainer had vanished. One of them even looked like they were about to cry, when a cry of excitement went up from another as all the toddler turned to look behind them as Zatanna reappeared in a puff of smoke, much to the delight of all the small children. Making her way back to the front where she had started, Zatanna brushed the cane to the side along with the silks and with another flashy click, her hat disappeared from her head, appearing in her hand.

The children were still wrapped in wonder, not sure what to expect would happen next. The woman smiled at the simple naivety of all the children, finding it oh so adorable as she saw even Wonder Toddler looking on in complete awe.
Reaching into the hat with dramatic poise, Zatanna began the incantation to summon the rabbit from her hat. "Ekam a tibbar raeppa morf ym tah!" But even as she finished, she realized she could further add to the spell to make it a bit cuter for all these little ones. "Ekam siht lleps hsiybab rof eseht srelddot!"
She had only been planning to make a rabbit appear, but she thought it might be cuter to bring a baby bunny out. She saw one of the toddlers tightly hugging a toy rabbit and she thought that making a real bunny appear in the hat would be perfect for the toddlers.
Zatanna's hand closer around the bunny ears in her hat, gently moving to lift it from the hat with a dramatic reveal. Something felt wrong though, the ears didn't feel so fluffy as they usually did and they didn't feel like the right size for a baby bunny. A small glance to the hat revealed to her it was a toy one and not a real one. Perhaps her spell had made her conjur up the wrong thing. 'Oh well' she thought to herself, she could just give this one to one of the kids. She could still continue.
As she pulled the toy bunny out of the hat with a large flourish, she suddenly felt a simultaneous pull downwards as she felt the ground hurtling towards her. When the movement stopped, she looked at the kids, who were all looking at her in sheer awe. She had no idea what had just happened but it seemed they'd enjoyed it! She could see it in their eyes.

Wait...

Zatanna's huge smile turned to one of a bit more confusion as she realized she could see eye to eye with the toddlers. Looking down, the magical woman heard an almost familiar crinkling sound. A childish gasp escaped her lips as she looked down to find a rather obvious bulge around her waist, as an additional pink bulge seemed to also spill out a little from her now child sized leotard. It couldn't be!

Pink?

She stumbled back in shock, tripping and landing on her now thickly padded rear. What had happened? Why was she now a toddler too? Looking over at the hat, the little ears of the toy bunny she had earlier conjured flopped over the lip of the hat. It was a very cute bunny.
The other toddlers were now cheeeing and clapping in the usual uncoordinated manner that toddlers are prone to do, as Zatanna suddenly felt herself swelling with pride. They were cheering for her!
She eagerly grabbed the bunny from the hat and gave it a tight hug. They were clapping for her and Mr Bunny had gotten to see it all too! She was so excited. Gone now were any adult thoughts as the now toddler Zatanna forget whether anything out of the ordinary had happened. Unfortunately, she had also forgotten her magic as she was now left with an intense love of magic but no skill left in the art. Possibly even more unfortunately, this would soon lead to her being full of knock knock jokes after Wonder Toddler convinced her that knock knock jokes were magic. At least she has her favorite toy, Mr Bunny.
