She stepped carefully, hoping not to crush anything human. When her foot did make contact with something, it didn't feel at all like a body. A sharp intake of breath was followed by a hand reaching down to the ground. A finger felt the edge of a blade and a handle connected to it. When she picked it up, the action was instinctual. Perhaps it wouldn't be the best idea to walk around with a knife in plain view, but it would be useful against anyone unfriendly. Anna-Maria quickly pocketed it, looking back towards the tall boy again.
