Description
A study of a classical oil painting. Though the result isn't the best image, I enjoyed this kind of study; I need to do more.Large & small versions of the oil painting I referenced:

You need to put more definition into your faces, they pretty much all look like extra skinny Disney princesses. The neck looks weirdly distended as well. As always, you have a good grasp of color and mood and realism, but seriously, every face is unique, you should try to show this more. Maybe try a caricature?

Fair, fair. In order to distort reality and do a caricature I need to first understand the reality. And the problem is that I don't. For the moment I've given up my anatomy studies; I don't have the time really. So without that knowledge, I've been reverting more and more into this style, yeah. I have been noticing that too; I don't know if it's a good or a bad thing. As soon as school ends I plan to take courses from another online site I found on anatomy, drawing, painting, etc in the classical manner. Hopefully that should hammer more foundational principles in me and get me off my same faces.
Thank you; I have been thinking about this lately. I just can't seem to get off my "style" and if it's not based on a solid knowledge of anatomy, like mine, then it's not a good thing.
