This is a day late, but I just wanted to wish you happy birthday Haykaru !!!!I'm sorry if this looks cluttered and whatnot DX I experimented heavily cause I wanted to show off Haykaru and Rex's AWESOME character concept!!! (As well as test out using my drawing tablet owo sorry) I absolutely ADORE the story you have behind these two characters and their beautiful designs!!!
But so, well, yesterday marked the day of another year of the awesome, amazing, absolutely WONDERFUL Haykaru 's life!! They are an absolute BLESSING to this earth with their GORGEOUS art, amazing kindness, and sweet words!! Haykaru has been watching my art grow for a while now and every time they comment it makes me smile so here's a shoutout to you, buddy! YOU ARE AMAZIINGG!!!
Idk what else to say because there's just so many wonderful things I could say about you but I don't even know where to begin ;w; so happy birthday, buddy!! Congratulations on surviving another year on this crazy earth!!! <3333

Ah buddy this is amazing ! I'm happy that you like Haykaru's and ray's concept, they are one of my favorite characters, and the one with a real backstory, not like Hindi XD She's more like me, so getting her nice backstory is difficult.
anyway I really like the perspective and atmosphere you've represended here,it reminds me of the scene Silverbloodwolf98 drew United
very epic work, but this scene looks lot different in some way Haykaru looks very anxious about his decision he probably is afraid he might be dealing with a devil, wile Ray has some villain vibe tbh XD, I can imagine this scene being the first and then after this one Silver's scene :').
as this one being the pact start and silver's the after pact :'), cuz he then realises how much powerful he have become with ray's help.
I really can't stop looking at the eye, it's probably my favorite element of the piece, it really stands out and shows haykaru's emotions perfectly, I really love the way you shade yes ;u; !

Also you've mentioned you have a tablet, I wonder what program do you use to draw? cuz I clearly can't see much pressure here. I might help you out.

Aaah I'm glad I could convey all of that!!! I wanted Ray to seem like he was overshadowing Haykaru and wrapping him in his clutches, hence the white whiskers reigning Haykaru in on the sides. Haykaru's concerned expression kind of just bore itself, from there on.

And yeah! I'm only just starting out using it properly, and I use GIMP. I used my familiar calligraphy brush (which lighter pressure just makes for thinner lines, really, and not much else) for this piece because I'm used to it and the other ones fade so easily. I'm looking into getting some better brush packs for it, though. Any help you could offer would be VERY much appreciated buddy!!
