I made a giant pearl milk tea plushie for my friend's bday. (Let's hope she doesn't check my dA in the meantime!) Pearl milk tea is also known as tapioca milk tea, boba, bubble tea, or in mandarin "珍珠奶茶".It's 16 inches tall including the straw. The cup is made of moleskin, the straw is felt, and the pearls were painted with black fabric paint.

O.O i bought those same pant for my hubbie!!!!!! -_- They soon fell apart cause they were badly stitched -it took me about 2 months to bring my lazy self to fix em.

how'd you make this? i wanna make something like this for my friends xmas gift. if you could tell me how you made it i'd greatly appreciate it.

Basically I messed around with pieces of paper until I got a nice cylindrical cup shape, but it might be easier to just fold paper around a real cup to get the right shape and then enlarge it. Then I measured the length of the top of the pattern so I could get the circumference of the cup's lid and I did the same for the bottom. After that, I sewed the three pieces together. Then I took some stiffened felt (for the straw), rolled it up and sewed it together so it wouldn't come undone. Afterward I sewed the straw to the top of the cup's lid and proceeded to stuff the cup and sew up the side. Finally, I painted a bunch of pearls on it. It might be easier to use iron-on transfers though.
