In IMAGE: American soldiers in the smoldering ruins of Obogo, Poland in the early morning of September 26th, 1939."September 25th, 1939, It has been a hellish 4 days since the we lost our chance at reaching the Baltic Sea back on the 21st of September when the Red Army appeared from out of no where back at Penastok and we were forced to pull out. For the last 5 days since that first Incident, we have had to find another Route to the Batlic Sea, further putting us several days behind the rest of our forces to the South, and Nazi Germany in the center! To make matters even worse, is that during our continuous drive North, we have been encountering the Soviet Union more and more the farther we move in North Poland. Everytime we are close to the Baltic Sea, we are often forced to turn around due to the Soviet Union arriving and attacking the same spot as we are, further putting us further and further behind schedule, and causing our rapid Northern Invasion to grind to a halt! Just yesterday on the 23rd of September 1939, at Bialogard, I was given command of the Union Armored Cores, the worlds oldest and first Tank Battalion that was formed back in the 19th Century during the mid years of the American Civil War, and we hit the city with to the point that we almost claimed it, but just like Penastok before us, we ended up being forced to pull out and once again find another route when the Soviet Union interfered. Command has no idea what the hell is going on, as both Washington and Berlin are unaware of all of this Interference, but in my heart its like the Soviets are trying to get in our way, and are purposely slowing us down, I pray that I am wrong. The Obogo Lake region is about the last target we have left in North Poland, we will be hitting it tonight. Word has it that the Red Army is concentrated on the city of Gryfice to the East, giving us a small window of opportunity here. We must beat the Soviet Union to Obogo and take that Lake tonight! For if we don't, we will never make it to the Baltic, as every other key city leading to the Baltic has been a disaster due to Soviet forces unexpectedly showing up in the same battlefield as we do, and forcing us to turn around making life more hellish for us, we can not let that happen here at Obogo, as this lake city is our last chance at reaching the Baltic. If the Soviets beat us here, or show up without warning like they have been in the last 4 days, then we might as well cancel the Baltic Offensive all together, as we will never make it to the sea."
