(Truthfully I actually prefer Sonic Boom but this seemed more fitting!)

Entered this into a competition on the SEGA blogs, there were 5 grand prize winners (who each get a signed Sonic CD soundtrack and a copy of Sonic CD on psn/steam/xbl) winners (who get the soundtrack CD and copy of the game)

I came in the "winners" category Soo pleased, shame I don't get a signed copy but really I had so much fun doing this the fact I get anything for it is amazing! The whole collection of winners is over on the SEGA blog and on Flickr and some of the pieces are just phenomenal so I'm incredibly grateful. Woo so pleased!

I created this on paper for the initial Sonic and Metal designs before scanning and heavily heavily photoshopping. I used Maya for the city (looked awesome before I destroyed all the detail but it was far too "Hey look at me!" so I had to blur it all lol) and for the road.

Lots I'm not happy with or could have done better but for the amount of time it took and stuff I'm pleased Really starting to get into this style of colouring as well and I can't believe I managed to do a night scene without killing anybody xD
