btw, I thought sunflowers "follow" the direction of the sun? how come the light of the sun seems to be coming from the back of the flower?

It's good that the sunflower made you smile, because as you said you had a harsh day. I think sunflowers are lovely, standing alot for the sun and smiles.. They are in a powerful colors.. Lovely shot.

Lovely, we have some in our garden that are 8 ft tall, i'm just waiting for them to bloom. This pic reminds me of a shot you'd see in Oklahoma, I have no idea why. Odd huh? Great shot.
