It's obviously pretty bizarre, as stated in the title, but man is it entertaining. I think I'd recommend it? It's that kind of show.

I apparently forgot to reply to this, sorry.
Koichi is such a boss, and his stand(s) are awesome and he's my favorite character. He's what got me so invested into the series (I watched over my friend's shoulder from the couch and thought he was sweet and cute lol but then he did some awesome stuff and that cemented him as my fave.)
His character development is the absolute best, and he's a really inspiring character! I was so happy when i saw that he was the character that connected Part 4 to Part 5, seeing his determination and how well he utilizes his stand from what he went through in Diamond is Unbreakable was really cool!

Favorite character in all of JoJos? Cool. (That's the only way to start watching JoJos, to be honest XDDDDD)
His character development was unexpected, but very much appreciated. I thought he was going to be another Smoky or Speedwagon type character that just exposits what's currently going on. But he really became his own character and I love that. ^^
I like that they used him to bridge the gap between Parts as well, considering the only characters that wasn't a Joestar to do that before was freaking Dio and Straizo, two mega evil assholes XDDDD

Josuke is definitely my favorite character right now. He's just... he's the perfect protagonist to me. He's such a goofy sweetheart, who is secretly badass and brilliant. When he's fighting Kira, my lord, he's giving it his all every second. Koichi is definitely in my top 10, for sure.

Yeah, top fave. I have others that are pretty close, but he just checks all the boxes that I like in a character. 


My favorites are pretty random and strange tbh. I think I like characters that I want to be like and I tend to like characters with alternative strengths like loyalty, kindness or moral support even if they're not particularly cool or awesome. Probably because it resonates with me personally.
On that note of alternative strengths, one of my other faves is actually speedwagon XD, he's usually useless in battle and basically just a narrator but I love him. That man didn't have to follow Jonathan on his journey to kill Dio, it wasn't even his problem. He dedicated his life to helping out his deceased friend's entire family (even after he dies with the Speedwagon Foundation) and i dunno, that's pretty admirable. 

Josuke is a good boy! I love him too. He's a super fun and entertaining character and his expressions are so good XD His goofiness mixed with seriousness really set the mood for DIU and it was excellent. He has a great vibe to him and I love how he interacts with all his friends and family so much. 

Honestly, I adore SO many of the characters in this series, they're really what drive the show and I love it. ^-^

I think that's true for everybody, for the most part. As far as the cool or awesome characters, well a lot of people want to feel cool or awesome so, there ya go XDDD But I see what you mean.
Speedwagon is great! I love him as a grandpa more than his younger self, though. I mean, he's definitely one of the best characters from Phantom Blood, but I think he's at his best when he's Joseph's grandpa X3

Me too, there's a lot to love about most of the characters in the series. Case in point, Part 5's Assassination Squad is very interesting and each member is getting their moment to shine, even though they're a bunch of contract killers that are trying to kill the main characters and an innocent teenage girl. XDDDD I love that about this series, no matter what part you watch, someone is going to grab your attention and make you enjoy the show.

I’m pretty new to the series! I accidentally watched half an episode over my friend’s shoulder and proceeded to marathon the entire series and watch Vento Aureo as it airs. As soon as I watch all the episodes, I’m starting on the manga. Goodness gracious I got invested in this family’s story quick XD

ohhhh!!! then welcome to like.. the best fandom ever!! jjba became like my... entire life like a year ago lmao such a fun and amazing series! glad your on broad!! i've gotten into the manga and BIG protip look up "jojo's colored adventure" majorly awesome fans have colored most of the manga that's the best way to read part 6 and onward  for sure
