However if you only don't like Sally because she loves,likes Sonic then that is pretty low. She has a good character basis vs most of the one dimensional characters presented in Sonic. I don't support Rouge and Knuckles together in a loving relationship, but do I hate Knuckles for it? No. I just find him not that smart and he is more of the contradicted clown-ish character. He may not be my favorite, but I don't hate him.
I guess it is up to the perceiver.

So no, I don't hate it. However I don't like/agree/support Knucouge. I won't hate the characters because it is pointless.
