The girl kept her hands folded together, slowly moving them to her mouth to stop herself from screaming. But soon, her fear turned into terror. From this terror, she managed to draw more and more of her own, hidden magic energy. Betty's bright pink eyes quickly searched around to look for something to use as a weapon. She found nothing. As she looked back, a blast of magic rushed towards her and she let out a terrified yell, waiting for the impact to kill her. Nothing happened. She opened her eyes, looked at her faintly glowing hair. She knew, her hair would always turn more pink if she felt scared, but this never happened before. Holding strings of her light pink, faintly glowing hair between her thumb and index finger, she was confused and surprised. Amazed even. "What is this...?" A dark voice suddenly spoke to her. "So... This is what fear does to you... It lets you use your true powers... Interesting... For a measly human child, that is." Betty's soul, a Soul of Tenacity, glowed ever so brightly, as a determined expression filled her face. She used her feeling of fear to use her real magic. In her hands, she summoned a pink scythe. The voice laughed at her, before it created a form resembling Betty to fight her head-on. "It seems you are unaware... But pink is MY color." Betty boasted, swinging the scythe over her shoulder, ready to strike.Mephy's procrastinating way too often! x_x Anyway. I added a new slider to Betty's model, next to the tips of her hair and her eyes turning grey, now her hair can turn into a light pink! She uses her own emotion of fear to tap into her true powers, unlike Bete Noir who uses it to activate her Rhabdophobia ability.

Yuu was recovering from the one hit that knocked her out of commission briefly as Phantom was assisting her.

Betty's bright pink hair was moved about by a gust of wind, while she swung her scythe at the evil copy of her. With one hand, this copy stopped her attack and destroyed it with its corrupted magic. "My turn, pinky." The dark Betty hissed, throwing a spear at her. The magic the dark Betty used, was a very dark pink, almost black.

Phantom left Yuu side to assist Betty as he threw a threw one of his explosives scrolls pinned to the Kunai at Dark's Betty's feet which upon detonation knocked her backwards.

Dark Betty threw her spear, before she landed back onto the ground. "Alrightβ¦ That hurt a littleβ¦" She snarled, as the spear hit Betty at the shoulder and pinned her to the ground. The pink eyed girl tried to remove the spear from her shoulder, screaming up in massive pain. The dark spear seemed to eat through her skin and flesh like acid.

Phantom made a Clone out of Water and sent it to help Betty out, with a swift drop kick he managed to hit Dark Betty in the stomach.

Dark Betty smirked and flung Phantom over her head. "Don't interrupt this, okay? I don't like people who spoil the fun."

Phantom however took a deep breath as he shot a monstruous burst of water which almost drowned Dark Betty.Β

"I needn't repeat myself now, do I?!" She spat, her clothes and hair soaked wet.

Phantom calmly tossed a metallic sphere at Dark Betty, when she caught it, the Sphere illuminated and made an electric burst which damage was more intense due to Dark Betty being soaked wet a few seconds ago.

Dark Betty let out an unholy, high pitched screech, as the electric surge singed her brown-pink hair into a pitch black.

Phantom took advantage of Dark Betty being distracted by the sheer pain his Attack Left and went over to give Betty a healing item, the Metallic sphere exploded as Dark Betty's arm was torn apart by the explosion and Dark Betty herself crashed agaisn't a wall breaking it.Β
Phantom gave some green Water to Betty to drink.

While Betty lay on the ground to recover, Dark Betty rose to her feet. One arm missing, bits of her skin torn off and hanging loosely, her hair charred black. "You really just want to spoil my fun, don't you?" She hissed furiously. She was disgusting to look at.

Yuu stood up as her hair shifted from Black to a Vivid Red, her Determination had flared up.

Suddenly an Energy Knife was stuck on one of Dark Betty eyes.

Without much of an reaction, she pulled the knife out and let her corrupt magic decay it until it was completely rotten away. She absorbed the energy the knife emitted. "I have to thank youβ¦" she giggled, as her body began to repair itself.

Yuu snapped her finger as the Knife was ignited on fire when Dark Betty absorbed it, Dark Betty was burning up from the inside.Β

The flames turned dark pink as she flung them back at Yuu.

Yuu deflected the flames as she shot a fire ball at Dark Betty.

The dark copy sliced through the fire ball with a scythe. "Nice tryβ¦" She giggled.

Suddenly Phantom sneaked behind of her and punched Dark Betty in the face sending her flying towards Yuu, the Tabata Kitsune wasted no time as she kneed Dark Betty in the stomach and began to force her on the defensive with swift kicks, Dark Betty's defense however was broken as Phantom was punching her from the back making Dark Betty drop her Guard and be at their Mercy.Β

Dark Betty stood back up, her body broken and battered. Suddenly, her hair turned pink. She waited. She waited for them to attack her again.

Yuu was going to Attack Dark Betty but Phantom however noticed the Sudden Hair Colour change and how she was waiting, He stopped Yuu in her tracks and shook his head, He pointed at Tenacity Betty as Yuu nodded and she rushed over to her Foster sister.
"Betty...!" Yuu said as her sister had managed to heal her wounds due to the green water Phantom gave her.

"Don't use magic against herβ¦" The pink eyed girl spoke in a tired voice.

Phantom heard Betty crystal clear as Yuu at high speed went at Phantom's side, Dark Betty noticed both of them were coordinated on their attacks, Phantom was the first to attack as he parried her every attack, he kicked her in the jaw leaving an opening for Yuu who had jumped very high and drop kicked Dark Betty in the stomach sending her crashing on the floor.Β

Dark Betty growled and spat venom in anger, before her eyes fell on Betty. A vile grin made its way on her face as she held a spear in her hand.

Phantom managed to knock Dark Betty on her feet before she could do anything, He unsheathed a Katana as with a swift Move Phantom had managed to slice the hands of Dark Betty while Yuu herself stomped the fiend on her chest repeated times.Β

Dark Betty laughed before the damaged parts of her body began to repair themselves again. As soon as her body had repaired itself, she threw a spear at Betty, aiming to tear her soul out of her body. Betty managed to jump out of the way, but flinched in pain as the spear had hit her ankle.

Both Phantom and Yuu punched Dark Betty in the throat to almost kill her, when Dark Betty was healing herself both Phantom and Yuu grabbed her from the arms so the Fiend won't move.
"Betty do it now...!!" Yuu yelled as the Dark version of Betty was now helpless agaisn't the True Betty.

"Attack her with all of your Might...!!, She cannot use Radophobia !, this Betty had used All of her Magic in Healing the Damage we dished out so far...!!" Yuu yelled.
Dark Betty noticed the situation the two of them trapped her in, They weren't aiming to kill her, their goal was to make her waste her reserve of magic on them and she fell in hook, line and sinker.

"Go on. Do it, BΓͺte Noir." Dark Betty hissed, throwing her counterpart off guard. "Succumb to your fearsβ¦ And experience endless terrorβ¦" She spoke with a crooked, unnaturally wide smile that seemed to tear through her skin. "You may think that defeating me, killing me, will free youβ¦ But you're far from the truth. I am your shadow... Never leaving your side... Always listening, always watching..." She spoke calmly before she giggled. Betty kept silent and just swung her scythe, cleanly separating soul from body. Her hair then returned to its usual brown-pink color and she dropped the scythe, which then disappeared. "Don't ever. Call me. BΓͺte Noir. Ever again." She fumed.

Phantom destroyed what was Left of Dark Betty with an Explosive Kunai, he sighed in relief as Yuu went over to hug her foster City.

Betty just dropped down to her knees, feeling a wave of regret wash over her as she covered her face with her hands and began to cry out of guilt and regret. She felt terrible that she had to kill someone. "I... I have blood on my handsβ¦" She whispered.

"You dont Betty...!, that thing was just an Abomination...!, It was going to destroy us all if given the chance... dont blame yourself for doing what you had to do..." Yuu tried to comfort her.

The pink eye girl trembled in fear before she wiped her tears away.

Yuu snuggled with Betty as the child realized her Foster Sister hair shifted back to black.

Betty felt the warm embrace of Yuu's Monster form as she put her back on the ground, wiping away her tears.

Betty still remained quiet. Her thoughts were racing through her head. What this dark copy of her had said, left her thinking.
