A picture I took last summer in the early morning hours, probably between 4 and 5 AM.

brought up sunsets and sunrises in her journal, and it got me thinking how the direction of these instances varies according to the yearly revolution of the planet. (At least how it does here.)

I love walking outside in the early summer mornings. The neighbourhood is so peaceful and quiet, and I love it how bright it gets before anyone wakes up and breaks the idyll by starting their car. I probably look really suspicious to the normal people when I'm just standing out there with my camera at that hour.
