The first of the two great dragons from the terraian legends.
KoniRyu is the great savior,send by the gods, who striked back SayoRyus attempt to destroy mankind in ancient times. He was the one who brought SayoRyu down and gave the Dracardians the opportunity to seal him away. After the war he restored the wounded world to it´s former state before letting himself sealed by the Dracardians until he would be needed again.
at least that´s what the legends say. But 5000 years is an extreme long time...

When the party unsealed him, he send them to gain the two lightstones, which contains his sealed power. He once created the stones to reinforce the seals for SayoRyus strongest parts: his claws and his wings. But after KoniRyu gets his powers back he confessed he never intended to stop SayoRyu. SayoRyu is a divine Punishment for to the Mankind, who waged war against the gods. It was SayoRyus task to annihilate the humans and KoniRyu was intended to heal the scars of war on the world. But after SayoRyu was sealed away, KoniRyu was unable to fullfill his task, and so he let himself seal away until he could finish his duty. The creation of the lightstones was necessary to lower his power so his seal would hold. When the party heard him out they intended to stop SayoRyu on their own. KoniRyu saw this as an act of treachery and fought them. But as mighty as he may be, he holds the power of creation and lacks of combat skills, and so the party defeated him with their current gained powers and transformations. KoniRyu, impressed by their will and strength, grants them a part of his power in the form of a lightsphere. With this they would be able to weaken SayoRyus power if he returns and have a change to defeat him.

But when the party reaches the ruins of Dracardia they learn the truth about the two dragons. KoniRyu and SayoRyu are artifical lifeforms, created by the Dracardians to bring and end to the long conflict between the Dracardian Kingdom and the southern empire. KoniRyus true "name" is KoniRyu-GENESIS-720/93-ALPHA 2.0.
While SayoRyu was supposed to destroy the empires forces and attack their capital, KoniRyu should restore the world after the war. But the KoniRyu-prototype failed and KoniRyu was´nt finished when SayoRyu broke free, and so he found the world in shards after his activation. He began to follow his programmed order and when the survivors of the empire saw him, they thought, KoniRyu was the one who stopped SayoRyu. KoniRyu heard the storys about the conflict, but since he knew that SayoRyu was supposed to destroy the humans (of course he thought of his creators a "the gods"), he let himself seal away until SayoRyu would be able to finish his part of the "divine plan".
