Description After thinking about Sol´s abilitys, skills and style i decided to change his weapons.
I actually like the gunbladish design of his previous weapons, but the size and wheight of his weapons do not really match his combat speed. Sieghart has the ability to use his large axe bcuz the devil mark gives him enormus strength, but Sol has no such amplification for his physical power, and swinging two of these heavy weapons as fast as necessary would be too exhausting for him, not to mention hold them in position to shoot precisely.
So i decided make him some special weapons that allows the same kind of flexibility in combat while making them easier to use. Actually this is the first time i really had to make up a weapon that is directly accustomed to special characteristics of a char. Since i did not tell anything bout Sol yet, i better write some details here.

Sol is a descendant of the dracardians living in the Dravennian Kingdom. Dravennia was founded by the dracardian descendants when the ABSF discovered the D-genes in some of them, which made it possible to identify them. 20 years after their discovery they gathered and settled down in the Sirius plains and founded Dravennia. They rediscovered their own history and many of the old bloodlines where identified among them, including the former royal family. And so they decided to rebuild their kingdom. Dravennia grew to the new core city for magical science and formed strong economical bonds all over Terraia and with the ABSF.

Sol is the leader of the dravennian knights and like his sister Eclipse he´s one of the commanders of the royal army. He joins the party after the DRA attacks Dravennia and queen Aurelia Lunetris tasks him with the investigation of the recent events. Also his Sister died during the attack by the hands of his own brother, who joined forces with the DRA.

Sol is one of the so called Neo-Dracardians. The Neo-Dracardians gene structure mutated over the millenia and developed their own characteristics. First of all: the "common" Dracardians are powerful mages, they have the potencial to to master all magical elements and can cast amplified versions of normal spells because of their D-Genes.
Neo-Dracardians have lost the ability to cast any normal magic and lack the ability of channeling arcane energys outside their bodys on their own. However, their laylines (the channels for arcane energys inside their bodys) are far more capable of focusing and transporting much more mana than usual and which makes it possible to use mana in several other ways than using it for magic. For example a lot of them can use it for healing without casting a spell. However, they can only use these techniques on themselfes. Sol is also capable of a special transformation, but i´ll explain that when i make the picture of it.
His weapons are the result of of the ABSFs research of the old weapon technology of Dracardia and the old southern empire. They are so called magitrons, machines that are powered with the mana of their user. The variants used by Sol can either fire his energy with variable attributes and intensities in gun form, or form an energy blade in sword form. The blades can vary in size and form and also be used with different elemental attributes. Since they consist of energy the blade itself has no weight and can be used easier than a metal blade and can´t be destroyed as long as it´s user can keep up the energy flow. They allow Sol to switch between melee and range combat or use a blade with one hand and the gun mode with the other.

I´m not sure if if i´m done with the design, but i think i keep the concept itself.

yep pretty much liking the concept, Mepist! I think the mana as the source of the power isn't that bad, besides this makes the weapon versatile enough in combat~

and you have summarized much here~~~ like how this all began and all, the history of the Dravennian Kingdom, so pretty much you can turn this into a high-fantasy novel now at any day!

~~~or create a game out of it.
it was a high Fantasy story from the beginning, but since the dracardians where a highly advanced civilisation and KoniRyu and SayoRyu are artifical lifeforms i thought i could bring in some techno features (i already have some giant warmachines in there anyway, and the DRA has a lot really high advanced technology in it´s arsenal too). And since the entire Neo-Dracardian concept already stood i needed a weapon for him that makes up for the missing magic skills.
that still classifies high fantasy I think.^^ I mean, those technology, you adapt and adopt them to the Dracardian timeline, civilization, and that's what you get.^^
hmmm...but isn't it that the uh...that technology you partook at, might overshadow magic? I mean, the technology is much powerful than magic itself, kinda like that. Well, maybe you got those things wired but uh, yeah I'll point that out for you, Mepist.^^
Overshadowing is actually not possible when it comes to dracardian technology, it was powered by their mana or other arcane energys and and mainly designed to amplify their magic abilitys or for using it in situations where their normal magic didn´t help them. U need to differ the old technologys from the ones that are used during the actual story.
Both the dracardians and the southern empire where highly advanced, but while the empires civilisation was mostly based on their machinery, the dracardian science mostly researched gene technology, for example the D-genes they implented into their gene pool where modified versions of the magical cores of the dragons they where allied with.
Their technology was designed to make use of and amplify their
arcane abilitys and was absolutely useless for somebody without a certain magical potencial.
The magitrons where developed by the researchers of Dravennia and the ABSF to compensate the missing magic casting abilitys of the Neo-Dracardians and make best use of their special skills. It´s based on both the old technology of the empire and Dracardia.
So the point is, that the old dracardian technologys needs the abilitys of an dracardian, who is when it comes to power already as mighty as a Neo-Dracardian with Magitrons. And the Empires weaponry was the counterpart for the magic powers of the dracardians. Of course it´s possible to create an outmatching weapon of mass destruction with dracardian technology, and the empire had such weapons for themselfes, but the case of SayoRyu showed where that leads, even if it was a response to the empires weaponry (a bit like with our actual technology, eh?).
U can always compare the single weapons, forces and powers by their values (RPG-like, what else?), but in the end they are equal, for example a flagship of the DRA airfleet is equal in destructive power to Tatsu in his Dracardian Legacy mode phase 1.
