I was commissioned by to make a beanie plush of TMNT's Dark Donatello (the evil clone of Donatello). -> Thank you!This guy was a lot of fun to make, but oh so much work! I don't think I've made a plush with so many embroidered/appliqued details before - and all that in beanie form!
Dark Donnie is completely made with my own pattern, using a whole lot of custom embroidery files also made by me.
I'm especially pleased with how his face turned it - it's evil but still very cute looking! :3

This piece is amazing! The attention to detail and accuracy is really what makes the piece stand out. The details of the original design are all completely translated to the fabric form, which is incredibly impressive. The custom embroidered armor adds to the form of the plush rather than just covering any overly complex pieces. The purposeful decision to use embroidered areas vs appliqued patches both adds more variation to the texture of the plush, and adds a dimension of shine that the reflective metal would create! (Brilliant decision making!) The applique for the stomach and on the legs shows no gapping and in fact, the lining actually is perfect, as it keeps with the cartoon's style! The character looks like a toy in that it is more "cute" than the original character, but it doesn't go so far as to look chibi-fied or too silly, if that makes sense. The expert patterning of the body form is further highlighted by the absolutely spot on color matching of the fabric choices. The ability to so successfully make a beanie version of a character with this level of complexity truly shows a mastery of the medium.

<333 legit I had to because this is probably the best small version of a complex character I have ever seen!! It must have taken agessss and you made it look effortless which is the most difficult part!

You have captured D Donatello's details just amazing as the Dark Turtles are a bit complexed designs expect for maybe two I think are easy.
I have to say that this is an amazing plush I seen so far that's made by hand of the Turtles.
