I find it hard to draw hands, but as my mum always says, 4 fingers 1 thumb yup its defiantly a hand 
on a fellow artist note... your hands are great :3
Strangely i think of this advert "BE PROUD OF YOUR PUFFED UP PIE!" ( what i really mean by this is be proud of your hands they really are amazing)

I always find taking a photo of me hand in the position i want it and using it as a reference helps... Because then you can get exactly what you want, and the angle you want it and sometimes if you still cant get it perfect you can use tracing paper then edit the trace, as in elongate the fingers if need be (i have quite small hands)and make them thinner and more anime-ish ><
