Pretty happy with how this turned out, the tree was SUPER hard to get right in my head though, so I'm glad that I took a good bit of time to make that look right. I fudged up on her eyes though, I forgot to be careful when I was using water color and well......My fineliners are water soluble. :3But I managed to touch that up so it's not as noticeable. Let me know what you guys think!! I was really happy with her clothes.
So I had this guy approach me about illustrating a book which I was super happy about - like back in the beginning of December. I even MET with him and he gave me a manuscript, and then once I gave him a price estimate, he stopped emailing me for WEEKS. WEEKS I was waiting to hear from him, not for lack of trying to contact him. Then, he finally emailed me today and said, "found someone in the neighborhood who's been doing this for years". Needless to say I'm a little disappointed and irritated.
Thank you putting up with my mini rant.
