That's very true... In all honesty, I should have been expecting it. Just not after so many other SRKW deaths.
It's a bit of a scary situation as well. She was the matriarch of J-Pod. Usually (from what I've seen at least) the daughter of the former matriarch takes over once she dies. J2 had no living offspring. On top of the that, her traveling companion L-87 Onyx (who became attached to J2 after the loss of her previous companion J1 Ruffles in 2010) is on his own again.
