Description
A WIP for a contest. yes, I should be studying for exams, I know.I'd just really love some help at this point, it's hard to tell from the sketch but this zebra fellow is rubbing a greasy cloth on the cheetah 's face. Thing is, I'm having difficulty drawing that particular arm without it looking like a severed or broken arm. Help and general critique REALLY appreciated!

Late, but nevertheles, I had a go at this... [link]
However, I think the problem is that he just doesn't appear to be "rubbing it in", the way his arm is angled all softly makes it look like he's wiping off some dirt if anything, to me at least. I tried seperating the characters a bit and stretching out his arm, I think it looks a bit more convincing now. Plus, you can clearly see that it's the Zebra's arm with this version. [link]

Maybe if the Zebras' paw... hoof... hand? was angling backwards a bit more?
I love the expressions, nice work.

By the way: Are they airplane mechanics by chance? I think I could grow even fonder of it that way... if it is possible to overkill on fondness that is.

The zebra is, I think, and the cheetah is a pilot. ^^

One word: Holy smuck!
HOW do you manage those angles? Those poses? Look. I'm not really sure what to say here. Maybe you'd want to angle his rigth shoulder somemore? But from what I saw at first glance, there was nothing wrong with it. The drawing is going to be one of the best I've seen yet. Lovely anthro art! And it's D' in the middle of it all again!
One day you just have to teach me how to draw like that.

When I tried the pose out myself, I think it chilled a little better with an upward-swipe motion.

i think it looks alright, maybe you just need to draw in the right shoulder a bit more.....?
but i am not an expert on that stuff so it might not work
