Description
All of these bats, the Jamaican flower bat, Honduran white bats, Tent-making bats and the California leaf-nosed bat are endangered and in need of protection and are all vulnerable due to habitat destruction and loss so I wanted to feature them in this artwork. Each of these bats has a nose leaf so I wanted to play with the leaf shape in the background, bringing them all together. I really wanted to celebrate bats and show these amazing animals in a positive and fun light.
