The Catterpillar is said to lurk around graveyards, usually terrifying people away with loud yowling and crunching noises but usually this is just the sound of him eating raw pumpkins that grow near by.

Those who claim to have seen The Catterpillar recall an eerie bioluminescent glow as the creature saunters and wobbles toward them. Despite the creature having 7 pairs of legs he only ever walks upright on one pair, the result is rather disturbing to watch.

If you confront him, be warned, as he is known to cause bad luck. Only very mild bad luck but you might burn your dinner tonight.

He is known to ask riddles, however no known consequences occur if you refuse. He mostly asks because he doesn't know the answer himself and its been troubling him for centuries.

He is so forgetful in fact, that he even forgets his own name. Therefore he mostly goes by several names given to him by wary travellers and surprised grave diggers.

He is very appreciative to receive snacks as he only gets to eat gourds, straight from the ground.
