Its Light's turn to meet Santa Claus... Santa seems to 'win' this round...Who will be next?
Santa is 'immune' to the deathnote as one of the rules is if someone's name is mispelt when written in the note more than 4 times then the deathnote will not work on them. I can't remember which number it is.
As for Santa's true name - who knows? Here are some I found online:

Belgium and the Netherlands : de kerstman, Sinterklaas

France : Pere Noel or le Petit

But in the Netherlands Santa Claus is called "de kerstman" which literally means "the chistmas man". "Noël" is another name for Christmas, but isn't commonly used over here. "Saint Nicholas" (in Dutch "Sint Nicolaas) is "Sinterklaas" who is one of the sources of Santa, while "Black Pete" ("Zwarte Piet") is his helper. "Christkind" is another name for Jesus Christ. I hope this information is helpful.

Im glad you liked it! Thanks for the info, I have updated the list, which is hopefully more accurate now, I only got the info from a website so suspected some of the names were wrong. Im really pleased people are actually reading this and letting me know the right names though!

light deserves rabid weasels or something more radical than coal from santa especially after he tried to kill him. besides if he killed santa all the good little boys and girls around the world would probably clobber his ass after not receiving gifts

Though I don't think that 'Basbouchka' is Santa Claus in Russian. It's Ded Moroz (Дед Мороз) [literally old-man freeze/frost].
And in Lithuanian it's Kalėdų senelis [Christmas old-man], or Santa Klausas, or Senis Šaltis [the translated version from Russian]
