This is made from an idea I had earlier this year when I started playing Team Fortress 2 (I realize it has been out for a while, but I always come late).
At first I toyed with the notion of a mash-up in the same vein as the SMASH series I had been working on before my laptop died... like a Team Fortress 2 meets the X-Men kind of thing, but I knew I would be grasping at straws.

I'm particularly pleased with how this turned out. Fans of my favorite comic artist should instantly be able to recognize the references with which I used for a good many of the characters, and if you're not a fan of his or just don't see the similarities, then I'll just go right out and say that I drew a bit more than inspiration from Tim Sale.

I think it would make a cool t-shirt, no?
