Moving right along with my new tablet and finally getting around to drawing things I keep promising I would because Anemia chains me to my desk. This is Lady Rayne. THE FIRST lady Rayne. She is old enough to have forgotten her given name because she's basically outlived anyone that might dare to call her by it so she goes simply by Rayne. She's the first of her name and old enough to make Tyrande seem like an Adolescent but it comes with the price of being far less in touch with how the world of Azaroth has been in the absence of the Highborne. When she was the Matriarch she wrote the family's main goal to be the preservation of culture that later became their being the largest Patron of the Arts in Kal'dorie Culture even after the fall of the Highborne. This tradition of taking in artists and fostering them with he care they needed to continue to be artisans is one of the few that has lasted into Present Day Azaroth under their youngest Matriarch Ashoke Ironrayne.

Rayne herself is not nearly as traditional as one would expect someone with that manifesto to be. She is largely aloof and disinterested in the struggles of day to day crisis because she's seen enough to know that the world has a way of "Getting over it" much in the way she has learned to. She often refers to herself being in the Third Moon of her life which would classify her as a Crone but with the curiosity of the First moon or Maiden. She enjoys the roulette of consorts that gladly accept the role of entertainment or company for how ever long it takes for her to grow bored of them, which is rather often. Despite coming off as indifferent she is fiercely protective of her Matriarchs and off spring which by this point is a largely spread family tree. She claims to love each and every one but has often become annoyed with their constant bickering and has little patience for settling arguments around who will be the next matriarch. She is very fond of her current Matriarch Ashoke one she herself delivered the sigil ring to when she first became pregnant with the first child, When she realized the son was to be Half Human Rayne didn't seem to mind either way, so long as her Matriarch continued to be happy and lead her house by the same values that are only known by those who inherent the title Matriarch.
