Really cool! It's amazing how you find some of these textures. I had a design project where I had to go out and find these sort of textures in an urban setting and its not that easy. You have to have a good eye for picking them out.

Well, in most cases my textures are a combination of several photos, but you are right about spotting useful textures, you really need a good eye. I like to go out texture hunting with my boyfriend, because four eyes see more than two. But it's funny that you commented under this texture, because a major part of it was a photo I took with my cell phone in a zoo! Sometimes you have no idea where great textures are waiting, so it's an advantage to have a decent camera with you.
There were these bird terrariums and during the breeding season, they painted some of the glass fronts in sheer white paint completely, so that the newborn birds can learn about the size and margins of the terrarium and won't get hurt.
