From the thumbnail - this kind of reminded me of a spine on fire, but looking at it full screen, it reminds me of a saxophone (maybe because of how the bokeh looking circles seem to bounce around rhythmically). Really great colors and texture combination

Welcome Sam I think it's a great analogy for reflecting contrast and unity in design, so many different elements but they all seem come together very seamlessly. Do I detect a little bit of tilt shifting for blurring the sides and gradually converging to a line of focus?

Might be! Although pretty much of that focus line and blurry sides was already given in the bokeh that I started with.
