I consider most of the work I have done thus far to be mainly beginning stuff. I am very new to photoshop and still have a very long way to go I find that once in a while certain images will just simply bother me. Usually due to one or two details that just didn't want to work out, which will then continue to haunt me until I just give in and take the damn things down I will still have plenty of images to look back on, but I`m a bit obsessively nit-picky and if something is too out of place, I need to not be able to see it.. ever. again. haha

Ohhh I know what you mean. Don't even get me started on how many of my textures I HATE. While I make them I mostly feel good but then 10 Minutes after? Hate em. 10 months later? Yup, still hate them. Another reason I just let them be is because I never know what might be useful to others. Sometimes it's exactly the works I don't like that someone else uses in their new piece.
But I understand if things just are too bad to look at

Well said. I agree. It is much more challenging not to. I'm a slightly obsessive perfectionist, and this is one of my biggest challenges in life. Sometimes I do need to loosen up and allow my mistakes to stare me in the face.
With that being said.. It really was such an awful picture
And I completely understand about the '10 minutes later' situation. I hate when that happens. It seems for me that I'm either going to really like the work.. or really hate it. There isnt much of an in-between.
Anyways. I appreciate the wisdom from such an experienced artist and will not take the advice lightly. Also, your textures are wonderful. Thank you again

Indeed, the hard diagonal line is something you do not often use.

The first thing I thought of seeing this was 'green lightning' - really interesting mix of the soft bokeh against the hard cracks/scratches
