I probably say this about a lot of your textures, but this one is really pretty! <3 I love the blue and how there is a little touch of orange. Using a predominately blue with accented orange colour scheme really works well with the design of this texture.
How do you get your textures to be so high in quality and resolusion? I have been wondering for a while.

Thank you so much for the feedback, I greatly appreciate it.
So the quality and resolution of the stock stands and falls with the quality and resolution of the photos I use to make them. I mainly use my own material, for that I go out with my Canon EOS 700D and take the best possible pictures of interesting surfaces. The bokeh/lights I sometimes use are from my boyfriend. He makes them with a macro lense (which I don't have yet), so I can't make my own bokeh photos.

I thought, like you said, the quality of the pictures you take determined that, but I wasn't completely sure--I don't have a camera myself, but I did use a digital one in the AP art class I took last year. I noticed when I used it to take photos of my own work to submit, that when I connected the camera and transfered the pictures to the computer, and then viewed the pictures, they were really large and clear. Is there a reason why that happens or is it something that the camera kinda automatically does?
That is REALLY cool that a lense makes the bokeh texture. I thought it was something that could be done in Photoshop or something like that.
Thanks for answering!

Well, you could say it's the job of a good camera to make nice and sharp pictures. The resolution can be chosen in the camera settings, but for resources the unspoken rule is "the bigger the better".
A macro lense basically allows you to get really close to an object and focus on a specific part of it. Now bokehs are made by choosing a motive that reflects light by sparkeling. Now, instead of focusing on the sparcles, you take the focus away and that will result in bokehs Bokehs are so to speak the unsharp rings of light that result from un-focusing on reflections.
I don't know if that made any sense to you?
What I can tell you is that I have been working some cell phone pictures into my resources as well. Sometimes I don't have your camera with me but pass a cool texture, then I take some cell phone pictures.

I've noticed that unspoken rule.
AWESOME! I didn't realize that was how it's done. That's really cool!
You explained everything well. I am ALWAYS up for learning something new. Thank you!
