Every title is incorporated in the picture.
You create the picture and creating the picture you create its title, too.
Somebody else can take it out and put in words, and different persons can take out different titles, but all of them are there.
It's you who create them.

The discovering part is a really exciting part. It's the best thing... like going on a treasure hunt. Also it's being out in the fresh air which is always great.

Yes, yes, yes.
By the way, I think that a photographer goes out to catch something that they don't have in themselves.
Not expressing something present in them, but hunting for something not present.
So the hunting is the word I usually use.

Yes, you're hunting something that's not already present. Very well put!

It's, in fact, Platonic Eros: the child of Richness (something you have) and Lack (something you don't).
To create something, you have to be really rich within, and you still have to be poor, to feel something badly missing inside you.
And this is one of the things Jesus meant with His 'Poor in the Spirit' concept.

So now that it's getting a little religious, so I'm out. But the concept still makes sense.

Oh, if you are afraid of religion, use it as culture.

when you say words as 'Halloween' or 'created', you are in the field of religion - and when you say words as 'life' or 'death', you are even more deeper there
(just an information)

mercurycode In reply to moscaliovam [2013-11-05 10:44:20 +0000 UTC]
Not neccesarily, no. Halloween is a religious holiday - originally. But over the years it has most likely become more of a tradition, a festive horror, and is not really celebrated in a religious way anymore, similar to Christmas. In terms of "creation", "life" and "death", sure can be interpreted as religious subject, but to a non-believer it is just a substantial matter. At least that's how I feel about it

moscaliovam In reply to mercurycode [2013-11-05 13:36:04 +0000 UTC]
Yes!
Same for Jesus: a tradition for some and "substaitial matter" for others.
I don't know if anyone has ever put together Platonic Eros and Jesus' quote about being 'poor in spirit'.
I don't even think that most people who used to quote Jesus would appreciate this.
I can even tell from my experience that most of Jesus-quoting people usually scare me away.
But I know that when I quote Jesus, it's different.
