Thank you Well, try the Photoshop Plugin Nik Color Efex Pro, they have some pretty decent filters color-wise.

My trial is just about to end, and I'm not sure I'll really use it all that much to pay $140 for it. I guess I haven't gotten the hang of it yet. *shrugs*

Well, I didn't pay as much, to be quite honest....  

The truth is, you can easily achieve any coloration or effect Color Efex does. It just takes longer. Color Balance is a great tool as well

I just like Color Efex because it even lets me combine several filters at once and if you've gotten the hand of how they look good, it's a handy tool. It took me a couple of months to really get the hang of it.

I wish the trial for Color Efex was longer than 15 days. I'm still not sure how I feel about it.  I like being able to create my own recipes, but I haven't been able to memorize any of my favorite filters at all.

I probably had quite a head start because Sascha told me which two or three he was using the most, so I already had some good ones on my radar to start with.

Yeah - 15 days is not an awful lot of time to get to know the plugin. And it is reaaaaally expensive, that software :/

So I went and downloaded it, and a couple of days later my credit card company was calling me saying they found some suspicious activity on my card. *grumbles* And I don't make a lot of purchases with that card, so thanks Google...  


But anyway, good news is I have it now, and I can't wait to play around with it, create recipes, and work on some textures. The only thing I did so far was edit some pictures of the beach I took while in St.Lucia. It's amazing how crystal clear the water looks now. Almost as good as it was in person. I need another vacation, this cold winter we are having is driving me crazy.
