Description HIGH RESOLUTION TEXTURE - "Ghosts of Your Burned Letters" (insp. by ~moscaliovam )

Kinda looks like fingerprints on metal, doesn't it?
Edit on 7th of October '13: That purple on the bottom was just horrible. I changed it to the original yellowish color in the photo. If you want to get the purple version, just sent me a note.

Two simple rules:
1. No redistribution: don't display it as your own with none or minor alterations.
2. Give credit, so others are able to find the source!

Other than that: Feel free to use it for whatever you want, wherever you want.

~ I'd love to see how you use the resources, so feel free to send me a link to your work. I'd be happy to give a !

Interesting how this looks like a landscape with finger trees.

Loved it when I discovered it, too! Just needed a tiny bit of contrast.

Thank you

Hallo,

LG

Yes, that's how it works with the textures: give it a name and the work is half done.
But the name must be real: you have to see it.

Would you like to be my official personal creative director of naming deviations?

Oh, they rarely have a name - I mean the textures.
Sometimes they do, and the name is there already, in the texture itself, and it means they are artworks (maybe requiring some editing).

But in most cases they don't, and they can be really good as textures but they require a picture.

If you see the name as the real name of the texture, just use it!
Any name that comes to me whan contemplating your wonderful textures, is officially yours.

I couldn't agree more with you.

I am just naming them after what they look like, because I don't want to feel the pressure of choosing such a title everytime I submit one (which has been kinda daily over the past 6 months). It's easier for me. But I feel really good about giving them a second name once in a while, a name that doesn't describe but inspire. And the two name suggestions you've made couldn't have suited better in my opinion So if you get an idea once in a while, I might add it into the description and maybe get one or two people inspired

Yes, you are right about inspiring names!
I love the names of and .
"Lips of the Harpy"!
Something that does not pressure you to see exactly this or that but opens a horizon: a window - to see something more.

Yeah, I'm watching both of these artists. They're awesome. Chris always chooses the lyrics in his descriptions so wisely and creatively.
