HAHA don't be done!! LOL have you ever tried Photoshop or firealpaca?
i use both rn and they are amazing!! fire alpaca more so cooler than PS to me!!

never heard of firealpaca before - I think I'll give it a try C:
before I began working with sai I used photoshop - and I hated it and felt in love with sai - 'cause with sai you can create beautiful linearts... and pse sucks rly hard in making good lines xDD - so well, I switched to the sai-side - but after ~ 6 years I'm not rly happy with the program - with Photoshop CS you have so many possibilities to sketch and paint ur ideas - and sai is just a derp xDDD

it's so awesome there's even a tutorial on dA somewhere just type in firealapaca tutorial
and you'll see what i mean! and i know PS is too difficult for me...i just started to get the hang
of it but now i downloaded firealapaca and i just have forgotten about pS (but one thing though idk
if you can make art smaller like by clicking the image and dragging it down if you know what I mean?) 
so if you made the head too big on your character you'll have to re-do the head cause you can't shrink it to
the body

yeah I downloaded it yesterday~
i just don't understand how to save gifs as gifs - u know what I mean?
they have the onion-skin-option and u can transform layers into frames - but u can't save the finish result ):

haha yeah - I rly miss the shrink-option and the option to make the image itself smaller (hope u know what I mean).
but firealpaca looks good so far - I hope I'll finde some time to work with this program; thanks C:

sweet! and I'm not a gif person so i honestly don't know what to tell you D:
I wish i could help cause i just learned how to animate pixels in gimp but even
thats hard. I GIVE UP HEHE

I do the pixel stuff in PSE and then transform it into a gif in gimp - but arg... my PSE dies so many times - it's almost impossible to do something with this programm X'D
In the next I will look for some tutorial for pixel/animation/stuff in firealpaca and when I find something good - I'll send it to you (;
