Beware of sparklies!thanks to for invauable color adjusting tips. Otherwise you would see no purple here.

I'm simply stunned by the richness of the deep violet on her wings and the underside of her skirt. It's so marvelously velvet and really draws the eye, yet not in an overwhelming way to the rest of the piece. Your detail work is gorgeous as well. Well done!

Oh somebody showed me how to select an area and adjust colors in photoshop. I think it's under select> color range. I always have problems with blue and purple in the same painting.

Nicely done. The gathers in the cloth are done really well and I lov the blue theme in the picture. (yeah i know I sound lame but my mind doesn't work properly until noon)

did you use salt there for the effects of the background?

I didn't use any salt at all. Yours turns out all brown? weird. Must be your scanner. I have a nice scanner but when I something with lots of blue and purple the purple always scans too blue. So I had to select the color and adjust it until I got it right.
