This rendering is a stunning depiction of your artistic talent, and really shows your growth as an artist. This black and white version is astonishing, and the "invisible" elements gives the viewer a personal in-depth perception of your subject. Also, I love elements that let the viewer's imagination create what is "invisible", and you have created a perfect representation that can be left up to imagination. This rendering reminds me of a vintage 50's look, and the pose of the subject is simply classic. I hope to see other renderings of this nature, and also hope that you will continue to share your fantastic works. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/h/h… " width="38" height="15" alt="

Thank you for the comments and the insight. She is indeed a flapper from the 40's, or whenever they had "flappers" lol I liked the idea of creating something where you had to imagine the rest, and it seemed to work. I like this little avenue, it's different from my usual works. Again, thanks for the kind words and the encouragement, it's always needed.

Very creative!
Perhaps my only suggestion would be to have left a little more white where the head would be, that we can imagine her there though she is invisible. I know that seems odd, I hope it makes sense!
Very nicely done either way!

I see what you mean, and agree. That way it doesn't look like I cut her head off. lol
Thanks for the kind words.

This is wonderful! I have been toying around with a few images sort of like this for a while and it is very inspiring to see how beautiful they could look when they are finished. The whole series is just perfect.

That is really cool. God,if I used charcoal for anything other than cooking on the grill,it would be a disaster. All the parts are in the right places. I'm guessing light reference lines for locations of the shoes and gloves? Very neat, very clean. Very nice.
