Description
This was painted for Traditional-Arts-Only monthly theme of Green. (For August) traditional-art-only.deviantarβ¦Acrylic on Canvas 12 x 16
The only colors I used were:
Cadium Yellow light
Thalo Yellow Green
Permanent Green Light
Permanent Green
Hookers Green (for the tree)
Permanent Green Light Glazed (for highlights)
I've never tried to do a theme before, but by golly, I sure managed to green this one up! lol
I'm not pleased with the picture quality, it doesn't quite capture the true colors as much as I'd like, especially the hooker green. Oh well, I'm not a photographer...

That's good; although art takes some effort, it should be enjoyable, in my opinion. The feeling I get from good photos I've shot or a well-written poem is diametrically opposite to what I feel at my job. 
But seriously, I understand, since I'm self-taught at writing and photography. And when a story comes easy, I'm delighted.
