Also please keep in mind that the magic levels may not exceed the chart in insane levels. There are variations, yes, but for someone who trains for 4 years, the level shouldn't exceed 40 at most, if possible, because otherwise it'd go out of the borders of even prodigies.
But you can age up your character if you want so that they would attain the level you want. :3

So would aging him up to 11 years old make that okay then? That would give him 8 years of training and 75 at prodigy level.

The prodigy levels are closed to the public (meaning, only admins may assign them to specific characters)

Looks like an overworking of the magic charts is needed next. Very sorry for the inconvinience. it's just very hard to get this magic leveling stuff into a clear system that stays canon with the comic and not lets characters be overly powerful with only a few years of training.
The numbers themselves were only added to the CRPG to have some form of additional measure to see a progression, but this probably is still to complicated.

Do you think a system that just differentiates between beginner, advanced, S-Class and SS-Class would work? Since that is how things are measured in the actual comic, but it wouldn't really make the progression very clear. *thinks very hard about it*

For now better keep him at a level appropriate for his stage of training and the other admins and I will think of a solution to the issue. c:

I'll just keep him at advanced level for now. 

I think the confusing part is where the magic levels meet the stage tracker. Since it says your character gains x amount of levels in magic after you complete a stage they level up pretty quickly from those rewards.

ooo, speaking of which, I know he can't be as talented in his second magic as the first but could I use my magic levels gained through the stage tracker to level up his second magic?

You use your gold shards to level up all abilities.

So for example, Character X has two abilities - one which is her basic one, Astrology, and one which is unique, Running. After stage 2, Character X has 70 GS. She already has 30/300 points in Running from the 10% boost in Stage one. Character X can either put 10 more GS in Running, and 60 in Astrology, or none in astrology and 70 more in running, or any arrangement of this c:
