Kinda, though the comparison between Dark Super Sonic amd Majin Vegeta was that one was fueled with rage (like the False Super Saiyan) and the other possesed with the dark attent with unlocked potential. Both Vegeta and Sonic are similar in arrogance and proud, but different in whose side they are. Goku and Bulma are friends as Shadow and Maria too are friends. Shadow fights against the leader who gave his blood DNA while Goku fights against an evil tyrant who kills everyone in no regards.

I never saw the connection between Vegeta and Sonic.

They are both known for their speed they both wear and like the color blue, very cocky and rushing into a fight without thinking, always need to be saved by allies, and also they have a dark side too(Majin Vegeta and Dark Sonic)
