Thanks to someone for the DD, my first since joining DA many years. I hope not my last.

White-tailed deer (Odocoileus virginianus) can be found virtually all over Kansas wherever there are natural woodlands and grasslands, especially near crop fields. Their highest densities occur in the eastern third of the state. (Probably because there's more trees and natural habitat.)
