Description Well, time to rep for the first round of players- my entry for the Immutable Steps mini-event for !

The first few steps into the Aionios Woods were long.

Tisiphone thought of her daughter, Lita, and the promise she made to be home- her daughter was the only reason she ever wanted to be home- but the woods were too beautiful. There was light coming down from between branches, there were flowers in bloom, and the damp grass lead her on a winding path to what she thought could be just a moment of peace. Maybe an hour, or two, that she could have away from a miserable life.

From there, it was history. She found the fringes of the forest and met Theo. Then there was introductions to Minister Solomon, and she found herself on the Minister's Estate of Ambrotos before even processing the facts: one, that nothing has ever been as beautiful as those first few steps into the Traveler's Woods, and she would stand by that statement as long as she lived.

But also, nothing has ever been as devastating as the moment she realized that walk cost her two hundred years.

I didn't see the story at first but was quickly intrigued.Im sure that you can find the minor error in grammar. You write well.

This is amazingly fine work. Your skill with blending a minimal palate is sensitive and breathtaking.

Wow, this is absolutely gorgeous! I love the stained glass style. Amazing colours too. I love how you've rendered all the nature parts, as well as the stylized form of Tisiphone. Beautiful!

Pretty! Love the concept of stained glass window! ^^
And I wonder who Tisi has told about her daughter Lita... :/ Hmmm... (subtly fishing, here!)

LOL Actually! There's only two people in the city who I am 100% sure know about her daughter. There's a potential third, but I would have to confirm it a little later on.

She neeeeeeeeever mentions her daughter in public places. It's not a conversation she brings up, and sometimes she even pointedly avoids talking about old family members. Not much she can do about them where she is now. In fact, she even gets really angry with people sometimes if they call her any variation of 'mom' or 'ma'.

Ooh, really? Don't mind me, I'm just reminding myself to possibly have Matilda call her "ma'am" in the future. (Hopefully, that'll trigger something fun! :3c)

HHHHHH, always knocking it out of the park with your compositions! One day I hope you stream one of these stained glass pieces. I'd love to see your process!

Everything is just so clear in the most minimal, elegant way. You really squeezed a ton of emotion out of those jagged shapes!

hhhhh // Thank you so much, Zel!!

I'm actually thinking of doing a stream sometime in the next couple of weeks, or after finals, so I can show off how I do the stained glass pieces

Great! How did you do it?

Same way I work on most of my artwork- it was all sketched, lined, colored and edited in Manga Studio 5/Clip Studio Paint Pro! As far as the style goes, I've been collecting references of real stained glass for months to get the pieces to look believable.

Such a nice piece, your stained glass works are really impressive. Can definitely feel the emotion with Tisi's decision here.

Hhhh, thank you, Root;

There is a lot of emotion to it. Not simple emotions either, but in hindsight, the forest was one of the biggest moments in her life Period

Thank you, thank you! Art nouveau is something I like to look up to stylistically, so I'm glad it's started to translate

I need to do Art Nouveau paper cat. I got this big book of Mucha from the library and have had no time to sit down and do anything with it.
