This is cool. I ordered these ~wonderful~ clock and watch parts from a repair/antique dealer in London. They came on Friday in the mail and are plain awesome. This is a movement from a vintage Russian pocket watch, with these HUGE rubies (the jewels are a pivot-point for gear spindles; they don't wear away like metal does so they used to use real rubies, diamonds, or quartz for watch movements)...it's a lovely centerpiece of salvaged craftsmanship, repurposed as wearable art.This mask is made entirely by me, entirely by hand. Leather, clock parts, acrylic paint, ingenuity and love.

I love the colors of the mask with the bright back thrust of color. Very nice and eye-catching!
I also enjoy the metal and clockwork pieces/style. Completely awesome!

Am I the only person that thinks it looks like the masks from the splicers on Bioshock? It's a very lovely piece! I looked at it and thought it was Bioshock related though xD

The color is magnificent. It's complimentary to the concept, and still very warm, regardless of being a "cold" color. You reticently work your magic over and over again!!!
