Another new commission, for $45. Here are the girls of X-Men: Evolution, from left to right: Jean Grey, Anna Marie (Rogue), and "Kitty" Pryde (Shadowcat).If anyone is wondering how it's possible to keep someone like Shadowcat bound up like this...let's just pretend that the girl's powers have been blocked due to a strong psychic suggestion, from someone like, say, Emma Frost. Yeah...that's it.

I didn't know that the psychic suggestion of a mutant like Emma Frost could neutralize the power of Shadowcat, did this happen in one of the X-Men comics ?

Don't tell Kitty what's under her, and she won't risk phasing through what you put her on. Wrap Rogue up as tight as humanly possible, then do it again. Like you said, put a psychic block on Jean, or keep her drugged out of her mind. Mutant capture 101, mofos. Love the art on this one. Lol.

Emma frost has show no ability to stop anyones powers by psychic suggestion. If you are wondering though.... Magneto has the ability to magneticaly seal powers for short periods of time. Which that said power is over used and not probable in the comics with the origional Rogue whom he got pregnant and sealed her powers away threwout the pregnancy.

Don't worry about explaining away Kitty's powers, it is how whoever the villain du jour avoided being reprogrammed to believe that he is Mickey Mouse by Jean.

For that matter, unless Jean's powers are also suppressed she could presumably untie the ropes using her telekinesis. There's probably a little black box "off-screen" broadcasting a power-dampening field

Absolutely beautiful. I agree with everyone else. Love the ties and knotted gags. And bless you for the perspective here. Sometimes nothing beats a simple pose and straightforward view that captures the figure and character of a damsel (or two or three, even). Expressions are great too. Clearly, they're not about to give up anytime soon. And I love that kind of fighting spirit.

I saw all of evolution, Emma Frost wasn't in it. But there was an evil telepath who controlled Jean in her sleep so he could be doing it. His name was Mesmero I think.
