Yes, quite a successful composition. Even though the framing device takes up so much of the picture's surface, it takes nothing away from the subject and the latter still dominates thanks to that bright red. It is really nice that the top and bottom parts of the frame are not equal, it divides the plane into units that are unequal but in a way that folllows the principles for harmonious ratio. The texts stuck into the frame echoes and sheds light on the action very nicely, though I wonder if it wouldn't have been subtler if the ink was a dark brown (for the same aged effect as everything else) rather than this sharp black.
I love the girl and the butterfly, they have a kind of pure beauty one doesn't tire of. Just ONE thing you really need to fix though: I can see you cut out the girl from a background, but in an awkward way -- her edges are pixelized and sometimes not that well cut. It's really better to use the pen tool to select the area you want to keep, and then create a layer mask. This way you have a clean antialiased edge and the removed part is not erased, just hidden -- just in case you change your mind at some point.

I really like the way this is pieced together, and the textures are great, the bits of witing scattered all over the place also add a nice effect. When i first looked at it i thought i would be a nice image to put as the cover of a journal or something similar. I like how the textures make it so the actual image of the girl isnt the focal point of the piece but it makes you want to look and delve deeper into the entire image. Im still trying to figure out the signifigance of the corner image with the piece as a whole. other than that a very well executed manip.

Wow at this, a very great picture.
One of the best I've seen in ages. You've blended it all so very well together, I would swear its an old piece of parchment from 1900's or whenever. Amazing work, I don't know what else to say besides the fact that you've done a great job, there's nothing you could change about this piece, its simply lovely, timeless.
