I haven't read the book myself, but a few of the reviews on IMDB said that it isn't like the book at all, so, if you're gonna watch it, you shouldn't expect too much from it.
However, I really enjoyed it. The first Alice In Wonderland was better, but this one is nice too, just don't expect it to be as good as the book (that's never the case anyway).

Oh yeah I know. A movie and a book present things in two different ways. Although there are many, many bad movies done from good books (The Railway Children for one) but I think it's either done out of greed or simply innocence in trying to portray what a book could but what a movie should not.

Take The Hunger Games for instance. I know people complain that the book isn't like that movie but I honestly think it is a most wonderfully done movie adaption. While the book shows only the things that Katniss directly experience, the movie shows less of that but more of the reality of what is going on and the relation between different people whom you used to only understand through Katniss's narration.

I'll see if I could get the DVD when it's out ^^

Yeah, people shouldn't compare movies with books anyway. I enjoyed the Divergent, Hunger Games and Maze Runner-movies even though they were slightly different from the books. Oh, and the last Narnia-movie is also a good example; the movie is enjoyable (not great, but it's fun to watch now and then) but the story is completely different from the book. But it's a nice movie nonetheless.

Oh wow... I seriously think Divergent is a fail in every possible way xD That goes all the way from casting to script writing to editing. But I'm glad you enjoyed it nevertheless - at least it won't bother you that you wasted some hours for nothing as it did to me

But I've heard good reviews of Maze Runner both movie and book only I haven't watch it yet.

Yes, The Voyage of The Dawn Treader is a good watch. I like how they literally throw everything that is hard to display out of the script rather than try to force the audience into absorbing them. Like the ending when they cross the lilies. It's completely insignificant in the movies when compared to the book but really, just how are you going to translate that in motion pictures without boring the kids to death?
