Using them, probably, in my RPG-oriented-personally-crafted journal-program, to show phases of the moon through days of the month. Good for keeping track of were-wolf activityΒ in the dark forests and light available for nocturnal activities.

That was the intention
Really all you need is a vertical gradient and a shadow. It does wonders.
